Commissioned by Dentsu for Seichō 2025.
Unform Experiences was commissioned by Scribeasy to create a large-scale immersive installation for Seicho, dentsu’s annual event focused on growth and creativity. Presented at Outernet’s Now Building, the experience transported audiences into a tranquil Japanese cherry blossom forest through large displays, interactivity and spatial sound.
We created two original scenes in Unreal Engine 5, each two minutes long. The visuals combined digital natural environments, 3D scanned trees, modelled objects, particle simulations, and atmospheric lighting. The second scene featured a layer of interactivity, where digital origami petals responded to audience movements, creating a sense of personal connection.
From a technical perspective, we developed a custom pre-rendered workflow using Unreal Engine's nDisplay features and a custom render pipeline to output ultra-high-resolution video at 50 FPS, optimised for Outernet’s immersive LED architecture.
An original 7.1 surround soundscape accompanied the visuals, featuring natural and digital sounds enveloping the space and enhancing the emotional journey.
